The Atlanta Film Society Welcomes New Staff

The Atlanta Film Society is growing! With the growth of our community and annual Atlanta Film Festival we have expanded. In addition to adding new board members, ATLFS has taken on new staff as well. We are pleased to welcome Brian Grady and Emma Warner to our team.

An Atlanta native, Brian Grady recently relocated back from California where he spent seven of his eight years at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences working with the Academy Nicholl Fellowships, the world’s most prestigious and competitive screenwriting competitions. During his tenure at the Academy, Brian helped review over 50,000 entries, helped stage the live readings, and even worked on the production of the Oscars Award show. Brian is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Critical Studies Program where he also completed an internship at Thunder Road Pictures script coverage for Executives. Since returning to Georgia he’s been diving head first in Atlanta’s TV & Film scene working both for the Plaza Theatre and AMC's The Walking Dead Studio Tours. Brian is now working for ATLFS as our newest Screenplay Programmer.
