Announcing Airport Shorts 5.0: Engaging an International Audience at the World’s Busiest Airport

The Atlanta Film Society is proud to announce the line-up for the 5th edition of AIRPORT SHORTS, in conjunction with the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Art Program. 

This year AIRPORT SHORTS will see new life featured on the CNN Channel, viewable on over 500 screens throughout the entire Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with a potential audience of over 100 million travelers each year. 

Eleven proposals were selected from 284 applications, the most in the program’s history. Films are currently in production and will be unveiled at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in April 2020. They will also be official selections of the 2020 Atlanta Film Festival, and will be screened on site at the festival, April 30-May 10, 2020.

Congratulations to the following filmmakers on their selection: Davonne Dupart, Eric Giessmann, Kate E. Hinshaw, Michael Curtis Johnson, Rajan Kathet, Grace Kim and Ty Lance West, Susan O'Brien, Lev Omelchenko, Erica Scoggins, Sarvshrest Singh, and Sasha Solodukhina.
