Want to know what your real voice sounds like as a creative? How do you communicate that to an audience? A client? Producers? Your voice is EVERYTHING. Join us as we help you discover:

  • The Technical Basics: Learning graphic design templates that will help your decks and lookbooks POP

  • Your Storytelling Voice: Understanding the stories and characters that you want to share with the world, why they resonate with you, and how to introduce them to your audience

  • Your Artistic Statement: Pinpointing what your voice is, what you want to say and why it’s important to your craft and those around you

The final class will culminate in a polished lookbook that includes:

  • Who you are

  • Your mission statement

  • Your themes

  • Your style

  • Your tone

  • The stories that you want to tell

Final lookbooks will be critiqued by a panel of industry professionals and yours to keep.

This workshop is an interactive, fun virtual experience that will push and develop your creative voice and allow you to discover all that you can be in a safe curative space. This workshop was developed to help YOU discover YOU.

Open to filmmakers at all levels.

ATLFS offers a maximum of 2 scholarships per class offering and are awarded on an as-needed basis. Scholarships cover 100% of the cost of registration. Please note that this scholarship is intended for Black Filmmakers and Students.
