Improv For Writers
A brilliant writer knows how to create exciting scenes in a manner that captivates both script readers and viewers. Improvisation techniques can enhance that creativity, leading to fresh material for comedic and dramatic stories and everything in between. In this two-day workshop, writers participate in guided team exercises (including improv games) and experiment with various practical approaches to produce ideas that could help build a script. The collaborative environment not only generates content but can also enhance self-confidence. Overnight, you write a couple of new pages, and the next day you see a script-in-hand staged reading of your improv-inspired scene.

Best Practices to Tackle Your Rewrite
In this workshop, learn the difference between a revision and a rewrite, the questions you should ask yourself when ready to tackle the next draft, how to decipher which notes serve the story best, and how to track the changes in your script without over-revising to get the confidence boost you need to turnaround a good draft.
