Internship Opportunities with the Atlanta Film Society
The Atlanta Film Society (ATLFS) is a year-round, non-profit media arts organization that specializes in film screenings, educational support and film and media events, including an annual screenplay competition and the Academy Award® qualifying Atlanta Film Festival, held each spring. Our internships give interns a well-rounded experience and knowledge of producing a film festival, as well as experience working for a non-profit, member-based, media arts organization.
Interns assist with administrative duties, membership, and event planning and coordination. Please note that while an internship with ATLFS is a great way to get connected to the local film community, we are not a film studio and cannot provide internships in film production.
Basic Requirements for all Interns:
Must be at least 18 years-old (internships for High School Seniors available on a case by case basis)
Must work a minimum of 10 hours per week (office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
Must be available to work a select number of after-hours events (some events are off-site). Depending on the nature of the event, hours worked may be applied to minimum hours required
Must work a minimum of 4 months (16 weeks)
Interns should be energetic, outgoing and enjoy working with the public. Interns should have excellent written and oral communications skills, phone manners and organizational abilities.
